Terms and Conditions of Rental:

Driver’s Age: The driver must be over 19 years old and under 75.

Required documents for vehicle rental:

• Valid driving licenses for all declared drivers
• International driving permit if required (please read the next paragraph “Driving License”)
• Passport or EU national ID for all drivers
• Credit or debit card for the deposit

Deposit amounts for all vehicles:
The deposit amounts vary depending on the selected insurance package. Upon vehicle collection, the driver must have a credit or debit card which will be used as a deposit. The deposit amount will be reserved from this card and will not be available for immediate use on your card. This amount will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided there are no other charges. The time of release of the deposit depends on the issuing bank of the card and not on our company. We release the amount immediately. Alternatively, cash can also be used for the deposit amount.

All details provided during the booking (online or via phone) must be accurate and truthful. Our company reserves the right to refuse the rental if the declared details are false.

Driving License:
The driving license must have been issued at least one year prior to the rental date. National driving licenses issued in the EU, USA, UK, Australia, Canada, UAE, Israel, Russia, or Ukraine are accepted. Citizens of all other countries must have a valid international driving permit along with their regular driving license.

Bookings and Vehicle Groups:
All bookings are based on vehicle groups, not on a specific car model. We strive to deliver the chosen car model for each booking, but in case the selected model is unavailable, our company reserves the right to offer the renter a similar model. The similar model is usually a vehicle that belongs to the same group as the selected model. Our company also reserves the right to offer the renter a model from a higher group without additional charge.

Rental Duration and Charges:
The minimum booking duration is one day, and the maximum is 30 days. The minimum charge, regardless of rental duration, is one day. If you wish to rent a vehicle for more than 30 days, please contact us for an offer, as the rental agreement must be renewed every 30 days.

If the renter wishes to keep the vehicle longer than the agreed period, the renter must contact our company at least 2 days before the vehicle return date to request an extension based on availability. The extension is valid only after the change is made to the rental agreement.

Payment Options:
The amount will be paid upon vehicle collection with cash, credit, debit, or prepaid card.

Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to cancel a reservation, the only accepted method is by sending an email, and our company must receive an email acknowledging receipt of your cancellation email. If the cancellation is made at least 10 days before the scheduled start of the vehicle rental, the full amount of the deposit will be refunded. In case of cancellation received less than 10 days and up to 3 days before the scheduled start of the rental, there is a charge of 40% of the deposit. In case of cancellation received less than 3 days before the scheduled start of the rental, the customer will be charged the full amount of the deposit.

No-Show Policy:
If the renter does not collect the vehicle within 2 hours from the agreed date and time of the rental start without any written notification, the reservation may be automatically canceled, and the total amount of the booking will be charged.

Late Returns:
During the low and mid-rental seasons, a delay of up to 2 hours will not incur additional charges. During the high season, the maximum acceptable delay without additional cost is 20 minutes. Beyond 20 minutes of delay, the customer will be charged an additional day of rental based on our company’s pricing policy during the high season.

Fuel Policy:
The renter is obliged to pay for the fuel during the rental period and to return the car with the same amount of fuel as when it was collected. If the renter returns the vehicle with less fuel than when it was collected, the renter will be charged for the fuel difference plus 15€ for the refueling service. There is no refund if the renter returns the vehicle with more fuel than when it was collected.

Fines for Traffic Violations or Other Legal Penalties:
The renter must pay traffic fines or any administrative penalties that may arise from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law. The renter can pay the fines in cash or by credit card. If a fine is required after the rental period, our company will charge the renter’s credit card the amount of the fine.

If the police or other authority removes the license plates during the rental period, the renter must compensate our company immediately. The compensation amount will be calculated by multiplying the total number of days the vehicle will be without license plates by the daily rental rate of the current season.

Accident:
In case of an accident, the renter must immediately inform our company and the police. The police will record the accident, and the renter must obtain and submit to our company the police report. If the accident is not recorded by the police, the renter assumes full responsibility, and no insurance coverage applies.

INSURANCES:

Basic Insurance Package: The initial insurance package is included in the rental price. With this package, all authorized drivers are insured with third-party liability for death and bodily injury. The vehicle is insured (1,300,000€) for bodily injury to third parties and (1,300,000€) for property damage. The renter is not insured for the following cases: if a passenger of the car has an accident due to the renter’s fault.

Additional Insurances:

Super Collision Damage Waiver (S.C.D.W.) with liability amount: The Super Collision Damage Waiver S.C.D.W. with excess amount:

• 500€ + VAT is provided with an additional charge of 10€/day
• 300€ + VAT is provided with an additional charge of 13€/day

and applies to all vehicle categories.

(An excess amount of 500€ + VAT means that in case of an accident, damage: above 500€ + VAT, you will be asked to pay 500€ + VAT. below 500€ + VAT, you will be asked to pay the total amount of the damage with VAT.)

Expressly excluded from the waiver are the destruction or loss of tires, rims or wheel covers, windows and glass, mirrors, and burning or tearing or staining of the vehicle’s upholstery.

No insurance covers:

• Damages caused because the driver was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Damages caused by an unauthorized driver.
• Damages caused to the interior of the vehicle.
• Damages caused because the car was illegally parked.
• Damages caused by violations of the Traffic Code (K.O.K.)
• Damages caused by dangerous driving, intent, or negligence.
• Damages caused to the engine because wrong fuel was used or generally by the driver’s negligence.
• Damages caused because the vehicle was used on a road that was not suitable or because it was used off-road (such as unpaved roads, beaches, dirt roads, etc.).
• Damages caused after the agreed return time.
• Damages to external mirrors.
• Damage or loss of tires, rims, or wheel covers.
• Damages to the undercarriage of the vehicle.
• Damage or loss of antenna.
• Damages caused either intentionally or through the renter’s recklessness, such as burning the clutch, burning tires, damages to the hood, trunk, or roof because someone was sitting or standing on them, etc.
• If the renter at the time of the accident does not notify our company and the police.
• Loss of personal items.
• Loss, damage, or theft of the vehicle’s keys.
• Loss or damage to child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare tire, fuel cap, and generally to accessories or extras provided by the rental company.

Fixed amounts of compensation for damage/loss/negligence:

• Vehicle key: simple 150€, special 300€
• Baby seat: infant 100€, booster 60€
• Car battery: 100€
• Antenna: 50€
• Alloy rim 100€/each
• Hubcaps: 50€/each
• External mirror: glass 40€, mechanism 100€
• Car mats: 20€/each
• Wipers: 30€
• Car tire: 80€/each
• SUV/4×4 tire: 100€/each

Additional driver:
The additional driver is free of charge.

Child Seats:
Child seats are provided free of charge.

Pets:
Pets are not allowed inside the car.

Cleaning charge for vehicle:
If the car is very dirty upon return, you will be charged 60€ + VAT for cleaning the vehicle.

Transport of vehicle by ferry:
Not allowed.

Vehicle replacement:
In case of vehicle immobilization, our company will provide a replacement vehicle within a reasonable time. This period depends on availability and the area where the vehicle immobilization occurred. Our company will provide a replacement car as soon as possible, and the delay in vehicle replacement due to force majeure (weather, natural disaster, etc.) is excluded from this rule.

Obligations – Other Terms:
The renter is obligated during the rental period to protect the vehicle, check its mechanical condition, oil, water, etc. They must also check the condition of the tires and ensure that the vehicle is safe for driving. The renter is responsible and must compensate the company for damages resulting from negligence. Additionally, the renter must lock the vehicle properly and park it in a suitable and safe location.

During the lease, the vehicle is prohibited from being used:

• In violation of this agreement
• To transport passengers or goods for a fee
• To transport more passengers than permitted by the registration
• To carry heavy objects, foul-smelling goods, or drugs
• To tow another vehicle or trailer
• In car racing, speed events, special routes, etc.
• For any purpose contrary to Greek laws
• Outside Naxos without the written permission of the rental company

The rental company is not responsible for any loss or damage to the belongings of passengers in the vehicle.

The rental company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement without consequences if it deems that the renter is detrimental to the company’s interests or if the renter fails to comply with traffic regulations and breaches the terms of the agreement.
